The SmartROC 3200 family is the industry's most versatile, fully featured and secure full RAID-enabled NVMe/SAS/SATA server storage performance solution. It features a fully integrated PCIe Gen 4 switch capable of ×1 bifurcation, SAS-4 connectivity with Dynamic Channel Multiplexing (DCM), and NVMe capabilities for the next generation of enterprise and cloud data centers. The SmartROC 3200 family introduces built-in hardware root-of-trust, providing the solid foundation needed for safeguarding information. Its trusted platform support includes firmware signing with secure boot and secure update features to ensure firmware integrity and authenticity in the end-to-end value chain.

SmartROC 3100 12 Gbps PCIe Gen 3 SAS/SATA RAID-on-Chip Controllers
The fourth-generation 12 Gbps SmartROC 3100 PCIe Gen 3 controllers offer a comprehensive feature set for enterprise server data storage solutions and best-in-class performance. These highly integrated solutions offer industry-leading low power consumption and several BOM consolidation advantages over competing solutions, resulting in a reduced total cost of ownership. Select models also include support for maxCrypto™ controller-based encryption, currently the industry's only data-at-rest controller-based encryption. The SmartROC 3100 12 Gbps architecture is featured on the 12 Gbps SmartRAID 3100 Series RAID adapters.

- Supports 1 GB, 2 GB, or 4 GB DDR4 memory with speeds up to 2133 MT/s, providing access to volume DDR at top-line performance
- Compatible with Microchip’s Smart Storage solutions drivers for all major operating systems and Microchip’s Smart Storage Solutions unified management utilities
- The PM8240, PM8241, PM8237 and PM8236 controllers include two additional 6G SAS/SATA boot ports with RAID 1 support
- The PM8205, PM8237, and PM8241 controllers include support for maxCrypto controller-based encryption, the industry's only data-at-rest controller-based encryption
