Car Access Application Overview
Car access functions include Remote Keyless Entry (RKE), Remote Start (RS) and Passive Entry Passive Start (PEPS). RKE and RS use key fob push-button access, while PEPS enables a more advanced hands-free interaction with the vehicle. PEPS provides locking, unlocking and engine start/stop functionality over high-security channels without any manual interaction with the key fob.
We provide a full complement of hardware, software and tools to enable advanced car access features. You can use our technology to create key fobs that provide enhanced security features such as immobilizer systems, and allow the driver to adjust and personalize seat position, mirror position, infotainment and other settings.
