Camera Module Application Overview
Camera modules are key components in many Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS). They provide clear views of a vehicle’s surroundings to enable autonomous driving and improve the safety of the vehicle and the people in it. Systems that use camera modules include lane departure, parking assist, blind-side detection, pedestrian detection and adaptive cruise control.
High-speed connectivity is critical for creating an effective surround-view camera system.
